Credit System — Patent Office Action Analysis Pricing

Credits are the currency for patent office action analyses on patentreply.ai. Each patent analysis consumes a fixed number of credits.

What Are Credits?

Credits are purchased in advance and consumed when you run patent office action analyses:

• Standard Patent Analysis — 5 credits per office action analysis (includes all rejection types: §102, §103, §101, §112)
• AI Chat Messages — Included with your patent analysis at no additional credit cost
• Patent Claim Amendment Analysis — Included with your analysis at no additional credit cost

Once an analysis is complete, you can use Chat with Documents and the Patent Claim Amendment Workspace as much as you want without spending additional credits.

Credit Balance

Your current credit balance is displayed in the header on every page. You can also see it on:

• The Dashboard page in the stats section
• The Billing page with a detailed breakdown

Low Balance Notifications

You'll be notified when your credit balance drops below 10 credits:

• An in-app notification appears on your dashboard
• An email notification is sent (if enabled in your notification preferences)

We recommend purchasing more credits before your balance reaches zero to avoid interruptions.

Credits Never Expire

Once purchased, credits remain in your account indefinitely until used. There is no expiration date or time limit.

Failed Analysis Refunds

If an analysis fails for any reason (document unavailable, parsing error, system issue), credits are automatically refunded to your account. You'll see the refund reflected in your balance immediately and can retry the analysis at no extra cost.
