Keyboard Shortcuts — Speed Up Your Patent Prosecution Workflow

Master keyboard shortcuts for quick search, split view, document navigation, and chat — so you can move efficiently through patent office action analyses.

Use these keyboard shortcuts to navigate the Strategy Analysis View and work faster on your patent office action responses. All shortcuts work when your focus is not in a text input or editor.

Global Shortcuts

ShortcutAction
Ctrl/Cmd + KQuick search — Open the command palette to search across all patent documents, open any document, toggle split view, or jump to Chat
Ctrl/Cmd + \Toggle split view — Enable or disable side-by-side document view
Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + XSwap panes — Exchange the left and right documents in split view
/Open chat — Open Chat with Documents and focus the message input (when not typing elsewhere)

Split View Document Placement

When split view is active, you can open a document in a specific pane without using the mouse:

ShortcutAction
Shift + ClickOpen the clicked document in the left pane
Alt + ClickOpen the clicked document in the right pane

This works when clicking any document in the sidebar — hold the modifier key before clicking to send the document to the desired pane.

In-Document Search

When the search panel is open within a document:

Ctrl/Cmd + FFind text within the current document (browser standard when focus is in the panel)
EnterJump to next search match
Shift + EnterJump to previous search match
EscapeClose or clear the search
